Can anyone explain trojan downloader ct!

Hi experts, been clearing a computer that was riddled with one virus and another, hijacked and all that! I have cleaned it up but one thing remains, trojan downloader ct installer. As with everything I try and search for on google, I cant find the exact one I have! I have downloaded 3 'free' removers, who when i get to the actual removal, say I have to buy the prog. Now, is it a serious threat, and how can I remove it? The computer is going to my nephew, so want it safe for him when he is online. Before anyone jumps in to tell me to protect my computers better, I do have every safety going on mine, the person who's computer I am cleaning up, had nothing!
