Zineryt Lotion

Been prescribed this today, to clear up my skin.
Just wondered if anyone else has used this and how were the results?

i've had this before, and to be honest didnt get much of a result. go careful with it, as it made my skin very red and sore.
i currently take antibiotics, and they have given me the clear skin i always dreamed of

I used it for about 6 years approx 10 years ago, it did some good but I always felt it was a bit of a lost fight when applying someting to the surface to deal with the symptoms rather than dealing with the cause inside, not nearly as good as antibioiotics which work from inside (but make me very nauseous). Hubby has it on repeat prescription becuase of shaving rash so I use his sometimes but to be honest I find a regular facial does much more good.

Good luck, from a fellow acne-sufferer!;)

I'm using it at the moment - haven't had any problems (although I don't need to use it on my face)

I've noticed an improvement although I do think I will need to use it for a prolonged time to take care of the problem properly.

    Smells though, and expires fast!

I used to use this but tbh I didn't find that it helped.

Im currently using this. I have never suffered with acne before until last year.I have it on my chest upper back and face. Although I havent noticed an improvement, Its down to me not using it properly but am going to so will let you know.Hope it works for you.
  • I am also on Zineryt, which was prescribed for shaving rash, as I am unable to take erythromicin antibiotics orally. (this is the main ingredient in this topical lotion). You may find you need to be patient as it will take longer than oral antibiotics to work, but i have found it to be very good. Many people report that it dries the skin, but moisturiser can be applied as normal. I usually apply zineryt, leave it for 5-10 minutes and apply mosturiser.

Hope you have as good results as I have.
