I have got a check in the mail yesterday and my account said I got an ACG Grant. I read about it online and the grant is for first or second year undergrad students. But I'm at present a 3rd year student though I graduated Jun 05. Shouldn't I have gotten it last year when I was in my second year? Or did they make a mistake and thought I was a 2nd year student? I don't know if I should send the check back. What is your opinion?

Hi, there! I'll move your post over to the Student Money Saving board, where there'll be someone who'll help you.

It could be either knowing student financial administration. I'd give them a ring and ask what year the cheque is meant to cover. If they say last year then ok, but if they say this year I'd point out you're a 3rd year. They aren't sympathetic if they want money back

Hi - this is mostly a UK board - I doubt if there's anyone who knows details of US funding. Does your university not have someone you could ask?
