Old argos catalogue URGENT help needed PLEASE!!!

i used to work for argos and as long as someone had proof that they brought the item then that was fine!
it was up to us to find the cat number, basically the lazy person cannot be bothered to find out for you!
its all customer services, if you return with proof and they still will not do anything, demand to see the manager, and have a few words that always used to work in my store, but basically its only your responsibility to provide proof you purchased the item, they should be able to do a search and find it!

If you have proof that you bought the item in Argos (Argos card statement) then that should be all you need. I assume that the card is a store card and therefore couldnt be used anywhere else.

It is up to Argos to find the catalogue number.

Don't let them fob you off - insist (politely) that they sort this out for you. You have fufilled your side of the SOGA - they now have to fulfil theirs

Just ask to speak to a manager, there is a funds adminstration department the store can ring up, the store will give them your card number and the date of transaction and they will be able to find out the till and transaction number and provinding your returning the same store you bought it at they can then pull up the transaction details on the instore computer. Won't take them more than 5 minutes!

Unfortunately that's not the one we have, the one we have includes western Europe so is the X350 W.

Yes I would say this is the one, well done Groovygirl! The above number is the Western Europe model :j :T
