went into the bank this morning...acc closed as its under the debt management plan.
i got £680 out for living expenses for this month. its going to be a long wait till next mth to see if all the various incomes have gone to the other new acc.
was meant ot have paid the first payment to cccs yesterday so another job to do for today is to contact them and explain whats been going on.
THANK GOD for that, have been thinking about it last night and my stomach was churning for you:o ..you could ring up the payment places to double check on the details and say how important it is for you to make sure these are in place. Good luck with cccs, i am sure they are well versed with bank account setups and delays..
I would also mention Barclays to them as well.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
:kisses3: aww thankyou!!!
i will certainly do what you have said...not something i thought of.0 -
i phoned up tax credits...they hadnt recieved new details but it was sent a week ago at least. dla and child benefit letters were posted at the same time and they have the details in place so typical tax office!! they make me nervous!!:rotfl: (ooops...didnt get the child benefit office cos too busy but i am sure it will be fine lol)
wages are the other two but they should have gone through if the management know how to do their jobs!
only thing is we were meant to make the first payment (679 pds)to cccs yesterday but obviously we cant now. hubbys idea is that the money i got for living expenses should go to them and he can ask his sister for enough till the end of the month. not an idea that i like so what do you all suggest?0 -
any advice going on the cccs payment mentioned in above post?0

friday 10th october
i emailed cccs who said the password was posted on the 6th so hopefully that will be coming today. i emailed back asking about the first payment. so hoping to get an answer today.
all i can do is wait but whilst doing that i suppose i should get stuck into my ironing!!
aggghhh.....i jsut want everything to be moving along instead of sitting not being able to do anything. i really want to get stuck into getting our debts down and i really want to get into my dmp to see whats what...i am just a nosy !!!!!!!!:rotfl:0 -
whew....items from identity direct have arrived and i was worried as with bank account being closed i wasnt sure if the items would be paid as they tend to take late payments.
that leaves play com so will need to look into them as again items were ordered but were being delivered when stock in. had an email saying lego batman had been posted ...strange as its not come yet (it was a couple of days ago) but if i dont get it no worries on that i can simply reorder. the main concern for identity direct is because they were doing a personalized christmas book for a penny about more than a month ago which i ordered on my brothers behalf for his son.
still no password yet i give it until tomorrow!
black horse has accepted the reduced payment!! couldnt figure out what they were talking about then it clicked!! seemed to come across as a very nice letter.0 -
saturday 11th october
no password yet...disappointing but it was hubby who got the post so hoping it did come its just that hes tucked it away somewhere.
got our £50 vouchers for joining tescos house insurance the other day so that will go towards filling up the tank in a couple of weeks time as the kiddies and hubby are on holiday so we will be able to use it to get out and about.
have been browsing the moneysaving old style forum...that forum scares me with the tremendous amount of useful information! was looking at how to save gas/elec....quite fancy an energy monitor so will look into getting one of these. eon has them for free with a certain plan so will speak to hubby tonight and see if we should move over to that plan as its fixed till 10 and we are 09. lidls have them for about seven pounds .
dh has just texted saying lego batman arrived and that was it. grrr....cant take that long for a password to come surely0 -
grrr....the site keeps logging me out in a very short time....i had just typed another reply after my last one and i was unknowingly logged out it feels like i am being logged out after one minute  its a right palaver0

just a doom post
still no password but i have just spied the postie so lets see what todays post brings.
still no further forward on missing the first payment due to bank blocking our account. the cccs keep passing my query as the orginal receipt was unable to deal with it. its now in hte hands of the cccs scotland dept.
its all making me nervous as i think we are going to get dropped from the plan cos we havent made our first payment.0 -
FRIDAY 17TH OCTOBER UPDATE
latest news now is we have the password!!! bit of a boring plan though as we have just started so nothing obviously happening yet!
our debtfree year is 2012:eek:  :rotfl:
they have a useful calculator of inputting how much extra and how long it would take to be debtfree....for us to go down quicker we would need to be paying over £1000! cant see that happening!
the two next accounts have accepted cccs proposal. so has black horse. so far all going fine.0
