Quidco tracked almost immediately for me. Do remember that it won't be validated/received until you have actually become a paid member of tesco ediets (its says this on the quidco site)

do people really go for this stuff??

surely, in order to lose weight just eat better and exercise more.. i only charge £1 a month per person for that advice.

If only it were that simple. *sigh*
I think I'm a fairly intelligent person (I have an IQ of 130) and I knew eating less calories would cause me to lose weight but questions like 'how, and why, and what should I eat instead? Would it be okay to eat this food or that food and how long should it take to see results? What if I'm wasting my time trying to do it on my own? Would it be better to cut out carbs, or should I try to cut my fat intake to zero? What if I fail?' are all things that went around my head before I started my "diet". I'm not a nutritional expert and neither is 99.9% of the population of the UK. Most people dont have time to work out what they should eat, which is why places like Weight Watchers and Slimming World and Ediets work so well. They take the brain work out of it. They make it convenient, and after all we're all looking for an easier life, right?
I cant say that I lost 75lbs because I learned anything by using Tesco ediets as they didnt teach me anything I didnt already know, but I can say I lost 75lbs by using Tesco ediets to work out what I should be eating and why I shouldnt eat something else instead.

It worked for me when "just eat better and exercise more" didnt. The proof is in the pudding as they say, for me at least.

fair enough, but with all the product markings how hard is it, really?

I decided to lose some weight last year, so just cut calories down to 1500 a day for a month or so... job done.

Last night I had a pizza which said 456 calories per half pizza, so i know what i'm eating.. I just don't see how this is "money saving" when it's something you could easily do yourself, without cost.

But what I know about dieting you could write on the back of a stamp, so not a clue what I'm talking about.

good luck to anyone who takes it out

Its moneysaving because its cheaper than it usually is ;)
You are right about the looking at the label thing, especially with the free software you can get online that tracks your calorie intake versus BMR and any exercise you do but how many average people know what their BMR (Basic Metabolic Rate) is? Without this information you could end up causing yourself to gain weight. Plus theres the problem with cutting back on calories without changing bad eating habits so you end up being hungry constantly and falling off the wagon because you get fed up of wanting to eat all the time.
Losing weight is a science and theres so much information (some conflicting) out there that for your average joe(etta?) on the street its all too confusing and way simpler to just join a class.
