Well more info being given out by the EA now. The potential buyers want to come do another viewing on Fri night except its not the couple its the son and daughter..except its the couple that are interested in buying not the son or daughter..except the bloke really wants the bungalow the wife has the "issues" of next door.....anyone else madly confused now..offer....no offer etc etc.....

Great thing is that another lady is also coming to do a third view on Fri night...she has wanted my Dads place for ages but ws waiting until she had sold and got things rolling....she has sold to FTB who has already had the survey done and this lady says that she just wants her daughter to see the place before offering....fingers crossed!

That has put the cat amongst the pidgeons.....

Sounds really promising with this other lady, especially since you know that she is in a position to move.

Your parents could mention to her that another family are interested and have made an offer (without saying that they are mentalists). This might prompt her to get her offer in before the mentalists get going again.

Hi all
Well the lady offered full asking price this morning and parents have accepted it (they are just waiting on their offer being accepted again on the place they went for last time...fingers crossed). Lady came round last night..very enthusiatic about the place and wanting it to be quick. Her buyers are in rented, had survey done and in process of getting searches done. If Dad gets the place he wants there is no chain as the seller is selling it after her Dad died. As for the couple that has been messing around.....they were supposed to come round yesterday too...but changed their mind and wanted to come on sun..Dad said he was busy but that they could make an appointment nnext week...would love to see their faces when they find out its already under offer!!!

I'd be tempted to keep putting the original buyers off for viewings, without telling them somebody else has bought it.



EA might not be too happy though as they are potential customers to buy any one of his other properties.

Really pleased for you and your dad. Nobody deserves to be treated that way and I'm really glad that he is under offer at full asking price with a genuine buyer. You couldn't ask for anything better than that

Even if the place they want fall over still move before they do their money.

thanks for all your best wishes...they had their offer accepted on the place they want. Its seems a really solid chain.
Pastures thats what my Dad feels like doing!
My Dads agent are also that couples agent and to be honest they are getting fed up with them also so are a bit disappointed that the couple will not get it (just so that they can get rid of them!)
