Extra payment from CTC?

Hi
I've received a payment from CTC today when I wasn't expecting one. The last one was paid on 1st May, so my next one's not due till 29th. I usually get £39, but this payment was for £21. Anyone any idea why? Anyone else had one?

Has you renewed your award and has changed this year? If it is the new amount you are to receive, it may be early because of the Bank Holiday.

Or it may be just an odd amount that they owe you from last year, if you have renewed your award.

Sometimes they just pay odd little bits to catch up though. We have this happen pretty much every year, and when we change anything. If the difference isn't a lot, they just seem to pay it like that rather than mess with the regular payments. It is always written in the payment schedule on the award though - have you checked your award?

We haven't received the renewal pack yet. I haven't notified them of any changes or anything. We're on the basic £545 per year and have always been paid about £39 a month. At least it's not loads so it won't break the bank if they ask for it back!
