Advice on charges

Hi there. I don't know if anyone can help me, but I am in a real dilemma at the moment. I had a cash flow crises and several direct debits were bounced during 2 days. This has left my account severely overdrawn and the only income I have at the moment is tax credits and child benefit (as I am a student and my loan went on housing costs) both are paid into my bank and I have had no money for 2 weeks :(

My mum has been supporting us on her pension, and I really don't know what to do. I have no money and I can't even afford to feed my 3 kids. I don't even have enough to buy a bus pass to take them to school. Natwest has charged me 6x £39 and I am at my wits end.

Please can anyone tell me what my options are? Thank you.

Open another account for you money to go into, and ask the original bank if you can come to an arrangement about what is owing. Do you have any stuff you could sell at Cash Converters or somewhere like that to get money? Do you get all your entitlements like Housing Benefit etc?
