That sounds really exciting! I hope there will be chapters on household cleaning menu planning, storecupboard challenge... proper old style stuff that gets talked about everyday!

Of course cooking and recipes, essential breadmaker guide and slow cookers!!

Can't wait! probably a cookery bible could be published already with the amount of stuff on here!

Nice one- it took me a while to find my way to the Old Style forum but it's become my first port of call here- I quite often find now that I've been surfing for an hour before it even occurs to me to go and have a look in Grabbit!;) The reason is, I think, that Old Style Moneysaving is uniquely satisfying- sure it's a rush to grab a freebie or a raging bargain, or cut a third off your insurance premiums with half an hour of research- but NOTHING is quite as thrilling as the first time you make a meal for pennies that's better than ANYTHING you could buy in the shops:D:beer:.

Lol, I can just see us all rushing out on the day of publication, buying hundreds of copies to convert all our friends and families, and reading every single line to see how many of our tips have been used :rotfl: I can't wait, will have to get someone to ship a copy out. Darn, that's about 10 months away :eek: :eek:

It would be great if they could keep the feel of old style e.g. the tale of toddler falling into ginger beer bucket and being promptly fished out - had me in hysterics!
