Funds

Have recently been looking at regular investments in funds - nothing major but would like to either invest in emerging markets or perhaps pacific/asia exc Japan. Are there any good sites to research funds apart from the usual suspects like iii and motley fool etc?

There are just so many funds out there I am finding it fairly bewildering

Lots of sites. Most useful possibly is http://www.trustnet.com/ and http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/ Some useful stuff on https://www.h-l.co.uk but of course they aren't unbiassed in wanting you to buy/sell so should be treated with that in mind.

https://www.trustnet.com and https://www.citywire.co.uk are both excellent resources for funds if you're an amateur investor. Because I've been called up on this before, I mean amateur in the sense of "non-professional" rather than as any sort of insult: I class myself as an amateur investor after all!
