Help please with browsers not working properly

Using Opera I can't use quick links and similar but can reply to messages and this morning Firefox is taking minutes (if at all) to load properly so I can't reply as pages aren't loading fully. Other sites except MSE are fine though. Any ideas on either problem?

Thanks, that worked for Opera but Firefox is not loading pages fully. I can read them but if I try to reply I can't get a clear box to write in.

I sometimes had hiccups with Firefox until I found that f/f does not clear from the computer completey. I went to task manager and cleared the firefox process and started again. This often worked. Since I am now trying the Deer Park Alpha it clears completely from t/m and no longer have the problem. Hope this helps.

You could try creating another firefox profile to see if it's just your profile that has problems

shut down firefox, start, run then type in:
"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p

When you see the profile manager you can create a new profile and try that one out.

When your done you can go through the same process to get the profile manager to delete the profile

If it's just the one profile that's having problems then it must be a problem with the cache, an extension, or the profile has been corrupted

Neither Opera nor Firefox will load fully now, seems to be a problem with images. I tried the different profile but same result - not loading fully. Eg. on Opera now doing reply the only image I can see is the spinning Martin, no smilies or even B for bold, only text.

Have you tried running a virus scan/spyware scan ?, Ive had nasties that have interfered with the browsers ability to access pages properly.

There are no viruses etc. that I know of. Pages on Opera and Firefox still won't load properly using new profile as sra suggested, also I've tried IE and that doesn't load properly either, have you got any more suggestions?

It's really hard to read pages, anyone got any more ideas on this?
