Should we change?

We are with EDF for Gas and Electric. Gas is on a prepayment meter. We prefer it as it's like PAYG and only costs us about £240 a year - £30 a month Oct to March, and £10 a month April to September.

I have just worked out our electric bill for the year, and it's coming in at £960!

Please tell me I can get it much cheaper than this.

You are likely paying more than you need to by having a prepayment meter.

What is your annual consumption in kWh? Enter your figures for both gas and electricity into a couple of the comparison site in the resource bar at the top of this thread.

Quite likely if you pay by DD or possibly with a dual fuel account dependant on your consumption.
