Reason for unit trust price fluctuations

Options
I was planning to buy some Legal and General High Income units but can't understand the reason of the frequent price fluctuations. Every one or two days the price either goes up or down by 2 to 2.5% which is a lot for a bond fund.

Not something that other bond funds seem to do so was wondering if anyone knew the reason for this and how I could predict the price I'd pay. The buy and sell price are always the same but is it some way of creating a spread?

Anyone even willing to hazard a guess on this?

Prices over the last few days have been:
    8 May -2.0%
    9 May +2.2%
    11 May -2.3%
    15 May +2.4%
    17 May -2.3%
    19 May +2.4%
    20 May -2.1%

Price yo-yos up and down by that same 2% or so almost but not always every day, which seems to make it unpredictable.

Would L&G or a broker tell me the reason if I asked or would that be classed as giving advice? I'm confused.
