Can I use NTL box for FreeView if I cancel NTL Contract ?

    I had the box left tho it was supposed to be connected - eventually rang ntl who said no note on account about outstanding box so I could keep it. Get most free channels but no E4 and as Big Brother was on at the time had to get a freeview box for the wife...

    Apparently if you plug the cable direct into your TV you introduce noise back into signal which reduces other peoples signal. :eek:

    It's also classed as theft of services and illegal :p

    I've only done it once when our box broke for a while and we needed a signal.
