late/non payment mortgage charges

i was unfairly dissmissed from work and have been off work for a while. i was charged about 500 quid in mortgage charges and interest as i couldnt afford to pay them or i would have paid my mortgage as well. i spoke to a women at the chelsea BS advising i was incontact with CAB and had a plan almost in place. she wanted a figure but i couln't give her one so she got nasty and sent out a financial adviser and charged me 90.00 quid for the plessure + interest again i couldn't afford to pay it.

when he came out he said because i was in contact with CAB there was no need for him to be there then took some photo's of my house then left. i am now clear of arrears but my payments have increased due to chrges interest ect

can i claim them back, if so do i need the same letter used for claiming back bank charges? my mortgage is 6 years and 7 months so its in the 6 yr period

cheers mrebuzz:eek:
