Add/Remove Programmes

I deleted Yahoo Messenger because I was not using it and one programme (Yahoo Address Auto Complete) will not remove, also there is a great big gap in the list of programmes bet Mozilla Thunderbird and Norton Internet Security WHY??? I have tried deleting the space but nothing happens.

yup - same here - my guess is you have uninstalled said programs but they left behind some rubbish in the registry - in the end i used CCleaner to get rid.

this may also be the answer to the gap issue but it's almost certainly the problem with that yahoo junk.

Thanks, I downloaded CCleaner and run it, it got rid of the programme, but the big gap is still there.
  • See XP tweak Remove the White Space from Add or Remove and carefully edit the Registry as described. Autocad and Autodesk also cause this problem, so if you have either of these installed download the appropriate fix on that page.

I defraged my computer and I don't have Autocad or Autodesk and I could not get the other suggestions to work and I don't know what I'm doing if I try to mess around with the registries, so I'll have to live with it
