I haven't applied for anything yet as i'm still working. Its a precarious situation.
It might be financially better to move into seperate shared housing instead then or just break up.
How old are you c-m? If you are under 25 and single, you will only be eligible for LHA at a very low rate (the equivalent of a room in a shared house).
It shouldn't really take you two or three months to find a new job. I would concentrate on getting back into employment rather than how you can play the LHA system.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Hopefully it won't take that long, and that has to be my priority - I'm sure it will all be fine though, just panicing a little.
Thanks for the help0 -
Best thing, get your cv off to all your local agencies while you are still employed.
If you are being made redundant, your current employer should be allowing time off for interviews.
Good luck xGone ... or have I?0 -

If you are prepared to break up because it will affect you financially you really need to look at your relationship.

Have you thought about temp agencies....if you are only planning a short break in employment then temping may be a solution....0

c-m, you don't need to contact the council at this stage. Just use the calculator on their website.Gone ... or have I?0
