Wanna buy a car warranty
Just bought a used car, and been offered a warranty (which i would have to pay for). As the car is French, I really should buy one. Anyone know of any cheap ones?

How old a car, if under 3, you can probably get one from the manufacturer. Most others are a rip off.Competitions - See it, search it, post it, simples

Thats it, im not sure its worth it, The car is 6 years old! Warranty aint likely to include anything that regularly goes wrong with a car! Im more concerned about it, cuz its a French car!!In this trusted place U can erase

It does not matter whether its French, German, Japanese or from Mars. At this age mileage is nothing condition is everything. There are plenty of good reliable French cars at this age for giveaway money. Look carefully and get a bargain,
Remember just because Japanese cars are perceived as very reliable (rightfully) this does not mean every Japanese car is reliable. So pick carefully. May i recommended you to the following site below, i think it is fantastic and in my view applicable to very used car once a car is out of its manufacturing warranty period.

Personally i don’t think these aftermarket warranties are worth the paper they are written on, so if you buy your car and something breaks down the warranty company’s favorite term will be 'sorry, it wear and tear and not covered by warranty'0 -
From what Ive found, these warranties never cover anything which goes wrong! We have had 2 in the past-complete waste of money.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

I got a 4yr warrantywise one (about 500 quid? fo r max cover) for my fiat multipla which was just over 2yrs old but an import and therefore not covered by the manufacturers/dealers warranty. In 24 months I have only had one problem, and they paid up (200 quid) no questions for the replacement of the lambda sensors (emu warning message and poor mpg were only symptoms of problem). I think they start making a deduction for wear and tear after 60k but I am not nearly there yet.I think....0

There was an article in the Sunday Times Drive section about this a few weeks ago and general consensus was to save your money for when things do gone wrong as they will try and get out of almost everything under "wear and tear".Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
