First Direct 1st Account

I was wondering could you fund the First Direct Account with transfers from another account?
i.e.
Wage goes into A+L Account then at least £1500 is transfered to first direct, would this fufil the funding requirements?

It did for me, but doing it for 6 months won't get you your £100 leaving present!0

I had a FD account about 2yrs ago. Apparently it normally takes 6yrs to become eligable for new customer offers again. However I was wondering whether having moved house I might be eligable afterall as they might not twig I was the same person?I think....0
