    Hi Katyw

And welcome to HBOS (halifax Bank of Sctland) They do not agree with putting 'arrangement' on your CRF they just [8] you constantly and give the default date. They do upgrade the balance. As soon as I went on a DMP (payplan) they [8]ed me and it's been on there for nearly 2 years. This is why I went down the CCA route. In a month or so's time my next step is to get it taken off (well try)

    Thanks Kel.

I didn't think about that with HBOS. To be honest I'm not sure who the original debt was with (Think it might have been another IF loan.) I stupidly took another one out to pay off the first........oh how young and stupid I was then. Thank God for the LB moment :j

Will definately write to them all about CCA agreements. Do you know if it's just loans I can do this with or CCs as well.

    Thanks

    Katy

before you go down this route read the threads on here (search cca) then ask all the question you want. You can ask for your cca for loans and cc, od's are covered but in a different format but if you CCA a current account they should send back a statement of account.

I'll have a read.....I knew there was a reason I had flu this week

I'm taking A&L to the cleaners hopefully re their overdraft charges. Which will clear my debt and give me some cash in my pocket.....hopefully.

I did settle an account in February that defaulted, do you know if I can get that removed off my credit report, or will it stay on there for 6 years as a default? (It's showing as settled on the account now, but as a default)

Loans and CC's you can request a CCA for. Not overdrafts though.

I've had a look re the CCA letters. I'm a bit scared of doing this now, as there are mention of courts etc, and I don't want to upset my creditors. Maybe you'll all tell me I'm wrong!

I've spoken to payplan who are happy to take on my DMP, which will have everthing paid off in two years

Just need to get all the details off Churchwood now, and I have a feeling it might take a while!
