    I love pickles as well. We have pickled eggs, gherkin slices and onions at the moment. I adore pickled gherkins esp with toasted cheese and ham butties :drool: Is it cheaper to make your own or buy them in industrial quantities when I go to Costco ?

    In fact - what is a gherkin? Is it a cucumber, a courgette or an actual 'gherkin'?
