Crawl back under the rock you came from. I have not lied, I have told the truth and I am not particularly looking for sympathy. I was devastated at the beginning of the week and that was made worse by you and your fellow cronies you little s**t. I really wanted to sound of a bit by the frustration of the whole situation.
Unfortunately for you, I am not going to crawl into a corner and weep. I have worked out several course of action, which one we shall take I do not know at the moment.
You see overall over the years we have been fairly sensible and when we bought our first house we had saved very hard and went without expensive holidays and lots of meals out etc so we were able to put down almost 40% deposit.
We do not have any debts apart from our mortgages and I have my own business that should I continue with as well as my job will net me more than enough to cover the shortfall. I had wanted to give this up and just work normal hours as it is very hard work and hard on the family but I will just have to continue for at least this year. Who know's what will happen over the next year or so.
It maybe that we sell and incurr a loss, I will still do the extra work to get rid of any debt that we are left with. So crawl away little boy, please do not post any more because I am sick of your childish, nasty vindictive posts.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

Can I just also say with regard to my title, I was making a joke at my expense. I know we made a huge mistake, as I said we knew within 3 weeks that we had but it was too late then to do anything about it. I knew that a certain few would probably think serve you right but never in a million years think it would get the responses it has.£2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

If property prices hadn't gone mad through this speculation, most people could be buying houses at £60-90k now, which at 6% is £390-580/month on a 25 year repayment mortgage.
Yet because of BTL speculation, these people are having to rent at £450-700/month. This has bled the country dry. People don't have any disposable cash to live a life.
There would always have been "proper landlords", but those who wished to buy would have had the choice.
In recent years, because they could borrow more than actual buyers, BTLers pretty much snapped up everything/anything that was going, creating a false illusion of value/worth. Not a real naturally rising market at all.

Yep, entreprenuers sometimes lose money. I dont think many businesspeople would come onto an anonymous website and bare their soul though. Kazd has lost out, shes one of millions, also losing out are those 65,000 builders tradesmen about to be put out to pasture, 1000, a week estate agents, and so on and so forth. There probably isnt enough webspace for them all to post their own personal greifscorpio_princess wrote: »That is never going to happen. There will always be capitalists and entrepreneurs and chancers in life, and I for one are happy to let them continue. I have absolutely no desire to become one of them as i'm really not that fussed about being rich (yes really - i'm on a low income but i'm happy). Anything for an easy life, me! I think all the animosity and bitterness towards people who have made a few bob (or attempted to) is borne out of nothing more than jealousy - so typical of this country. We can't ever seem to congratulate anyone for trying to better themselves, but we sure as hell know how to stamp on them when they're down and bellow 'I told you so'. Sometimes the attitude of people in this country really upsets me - what is it about money that turns people into monsters when they might otherwise be quite nice people?0 -
the smell of cow poo still persists from your general direction

Cells, I really think you would be better suited to enrol on the CBeebies forum!
And as a "A" student and Masters in sciences you probably already know this, but a cell is the smallest unit of an organism that is classified as living......

I read the first 2 pages of this thread...and then jumped to page 8, so not sure if this has been suggested or not but could you change your mortgage to interest only for a few years to improve your cashflow?0

Cells, old chap, I think you've made your point. Time to give it rest perhaps?
The OP has been really quite tolerant in spite of the comments launched at her. You've not done anything to enhance the reputation of the HPC site which does have some intelligent comment in amongst the dross.0 -
Lets just wait for all the HPC's to collect lots of houses at 80% discount and we'll soon see them bleating on MSE how much their tennants are giving them grief.
If you knew the HPC crowd you wouldn't be spouting such tosh. Most of the resentment of buy to let landlords is based on them accelerating house price rises through speculation at the expense of first time buyers. Also their need to dramitically increase their portfolios at little expence to themselves giving little care to the huge social damage it is doing to the community.
HPCs just want the ability to buy an affordable house to live in, nothing more, nothing less. One thing I've learnt in life is what goes around comes around.
On this point I fully agree.:exclamatiScams - Shared Equity, Shared Ownership, Newbuy, Firstbuy and Help to Buy.

123 I don't think I would like to get to know any of the HPC's from the tosh I've seen them talk. For Cells to post someones posting on another site without their permission just highlights the attitude these people have, namely damn everyone else and their opinion if it isn't in line with the HPC sermon.
I also suggest you enroll on a spelling course before you decide to add me in on your abrasive replies.
I joined this site to help, advise, learn and relate to decent fair minded people. This obviously is impossible judging by this thread.0
