Burning CD/DVD

Hi,
Hope someone can help. I have been using deep burner to burn cd's/dvd's, this is a free version that was downloaded onto my computer by a tech guy at pc world. I have tried to burn some music onto a cd and for some reason it is not buring, it goes all through the motions and said the disc is completed but when I try and play the disc I get a message that the disc is empty. Does anyone know why this is happening or if there is another free download I could use? I know very little about computers so any help would be appreciated.

my guess is you are burning MP3 files to a cd, which will not be playable on a normal cd player, follow browntoa(st? d?)'s adviseUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
