HSBC - lost credit card data - new card needed

Ahh the irony...

...I just got my credit card statement today from HSBC, inside it there is a nice little leaflet telling you to register for Mastercard SecureCode and a section on the website telling you to "take care of your personal data" this comes a month after this incompetent bunch of losers cancelled my old card and sent a replacement because they "lost a disc containing credit card numbers."

Sadly HSBC seems to be having a lot of difficulty in this field, google "lost data HSBC" shows just how bad they have become.

Helping Security Breaches Currently????

Any recommendations for a change of card? Low balance transfer rate would be the best, and preferrably a bank that knows the meaning of security!!!

Were you affected by the loss of the disc? If not then why worry? This kind of thing can happen to any organisation. If you're not happy with them then it is up to you to cancel the card and switch to other issuers.
