Business Bank Account

Hi guys,

I've had some bad debts with Natwest and some other creditors. I've recently taken charge of them and I look set to fully discharge all of them within 6 months (some settlements will be made with partial payment). However, I have also set-up in business recently and I am having a tough time opening a bank account. I have not been formally declined, however that is because I know my credit history is quite bad and I believe I will get declined anyway. I have approached a couple of banks Lloyds in particular, who have my basic current account, seemed unwilling to take the application forward once they discovered I only hold a basic account with them. Others, I have simply pulled the plug on the application before they did a credit check (I do not want histories of checks on my credit file).

My question: 'Is there any way that I can get a business current account, however basic it may be as I have a limited company and it is getting hard to function properly with my personal account?'

Any advise will be welcome as I've run out of ideas.
