Getting hold of old itemised bills

I was wondering if anyone could help.

At work, we have received a complaint dating back to 1996/7. Part of this relates to whether or not they received faxes and phone calls from us, which they are saying they didn't.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get itemised BT phone bills dating back that far?

Thanks in advance,

Em

    Hi there,
This may be a silly question but have you tried to simply ask your telecoms provider? or at least ask them to verify that they hold records dating so far back. if they are unwilling to provide them then i think that you would possibly be able to apply with a SAR (subject access request) under the data protection act for all information currently held by them regarding your account, this would include bills etc. Somebody please correct me if i am wrong
