Primus & BT exit charges

Currently I am with BT for line rental & have Unlimited Weekend Plan. I have been reading various threads on MSE & have signed up for 18185 for cheap calls - thanks specifically to Heinz for his 6-steps post.
I'm thinking of also signing up for Primus Saver to get free evening calls as well.
My question is if I sign up for Primus Saver will BT levy any exit fees on me ? Does anyone have any experience of this ?
Also, assuming I go with Primus Saver would I then dial 128018185 or just 18185 to use this service ?
Thanks in advance.

You do NOT move line rental away from BT.
You CPS to Primus Saver Option 2.
Make sure you get the right package and keep BT line rental:

Only if you have more than the basic BT line rental, and I think that is called the "weekend plan" now.
As you will not be moving line rental away from BT and assuming you have the basic plan, and you are not in contract then there should be no exit fees.Calling Plans
BT Together Option 1 Free UK Weekend Plan << No cost to leave if you have had it 12 months (unless you are on a 18 Month contract)
BT Together Option 2 Evening & Weekend Plans << Costs a lot to break contract
BT Together Option 3 Anytime Plans << Costs even more to break contract
The latest offers from BT "free evening and weekend calls" are to trap you into a yearly contract, now that is fine if you want to just have BT but can get expensive if you had to move to another provider or cease the service for some reason.0 -

OTOH, the advantage of the BT plan is that the calls count towards the number of calls necessary to qualify for free Caller Display and (if you must use it) 1571.
If you changed to Primus CPS, just the 1280 prefix would override the CPS programming at the exchange and route an individual call over BT and, similarly, just the 18185 prefix would override the CPS programming and route an individual call over 18185.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0
