If you go on Experian you can sign up for a monthly credit check to be sent to you via email - I believe its called Credit Expert. Perhaps you could get your wife to agree for this to be sent to a joint email address so you can keep a check on how her debts are doing and make sure no-one is using her details fraudulently. If you put it to her that someone has recommended the service to you.

Thanks Everyone,
It really is a weight off my shoulders know that I'm NOT jointly responsible for all debts.
To be fair my wife has struck rigidly to our aggreement that she pays me back, and has never missed a payment in the last six years with it being via a standing order from her account to mine. She also is sticking to our golden rule, that if the money is not in the bank you cant afford to buy it.
But having gone through the turmoil, it does knock you for six, and yes it is take a long time for the trust to come back even though we are now much closer as a couple as everything is in the open and she not longer has the fear. We all make mistakes, but I dont think that trust will ever return to 100%, 99% maybe. I think there will always have be that tiny doubt below the suface.0 -

Gosh I wouldn't tell her about this site-If she sees how little you trust her (reading the first post) it may do untold damage.
At the very least change your user name and let the post work its way down the pile before introducing her to the delights of MSE !!I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole

Can I just say that as someone in your wife's position I am feeling absolutely gutted at the moment.
OH is insisting that he has details to my account and I have to be honest I do resent it.
As I asked my OH to stop treating me as a child but as a adult that has f**ked up.2014 Target;
