Yes you can, but if you want to swap the meters, you should probably ask BG first if they will swap your meter. Nothing ventured...0

You can move suppliers no problem at all with pre-payment meters.
If you want to switch to a credit meter, then it's best to get your current supplier to initiated the switch and it shouldn't cost and be done pretty quickly.
If you try and get your new provider to initiate the meter swap out, then they might want you to stay on pre-payment meter for a while or charge a fee.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc...
