The title caught my attention lol.I didn't have to pay a penny.
Simply went to a different solicitors' firm, swore ( in the nicest possible sense), quick pleasanteries and off I trotted non the poorer.
The poor guy might just have felt a bit silly charging for 2 mins of his time watching me sign a bit of paper and didn't have the heart to charge.Thinking about it, that's been my one and only good experience of solicitors.0
