I thought this was going to be about a TV that cost less than 50p a couple of weeks back

definitely take the money back option though, paying a bit extra for the same TV is better than potentially losing any cash. The accounts overdue and stock issues do look very concerning

    Hello,

Sorry to bring this up again but if I were you I'd look at the reviews of this company on this web site

Let us all know how you get on.

Many thanks to all of you who have sent your ideas as to what my next course of action will be.

I have tried to contact them by email requesting my order be cancelled, however they have failed to reply.

I have tried to contact the Managing Director by telephone but no answer.

I have contacted Tesco personal finance who were very helpful and said that if I put my complaint in writting they would chase Internet Direct for the refund.

At last I can see a small light at the end of that great big tunnel!

Under Consumer Credit (CC) Act Tesco PF are jointly responsible for the refund.

I suggest you write to Internet Direct by Recorded Delivery saying that you either want the TV delivered or a full refund on your Credit Card within say 14 days. If you do not get either within that period then contact Tesco PF again and remind them that under the CC Act they are now responsible for reimbursing you and that you want the money creditted to your account immediately. Do not be strung along by thjeir niceties or them trying to get the money bacvk for you. They give you the money and then try and recover it for themselves.

Couldn't she force Tesco to supply her with the TV at the agreed price?
