in Credit cards

i gained two defaults and a ccj in the same year as my head was far away with other thing but now i struggle to get credit i have payed the ccj of and waiting for it to be marked as satisfied and started to make payments on my defaults
thats enough of that now my question is i opened a natwest account last week the advantage gold account and whacked £600 in there and then i have put a further £59 if i continue with paying money into this account when i go into the branch after 6 months wil they take my account into consideration if i apply for a credit card of will they refuse me due to my credit file/score?
also when my ccj gets marked satisfied what impact will that have to my credit file/score thanks in advance for any answers and sorry for such a long thread

CCJ'S and defaults are normally on file for six years from the date registered . If they are paid , they will still show , but you would need to get the original creditor or Northampton county court to issue a notice of satisfaction . I would check your credit file with Experian or /and Equifax and maybe raise with them that these debts are paid and to make sure this is showing.
The only way your file will show better is over time , with all the payments up to date - how much money you have in your account will not show to other lenders , although your banks own internal score would be good.
The above is from my own experiences and I hope this helps.0 -
put a notice of correction on your file.
you are allowed 200 words (I think) to adda note on your file that can exaplin the circumstances to lenders.
the notice of correction means that any credit application has to be referred, instead of automatically declined, so you might stand more chance of getting past the auto declines.
