I love that you've included that in the instructions! :rotfl:
Why is it that DD can break eggs perfectly every time, and yet I always end up with shell in the bowl?
I also have pasta salad for lunch most days but have never tried to freeze it, so that's next on my 'to do' list. Also, love the sound of your recipe Stephen - but I'm wondering if there's a way to do it with regular dried pasta (cheaper than buying a packet mix)?some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -

My recipes are aimed at people (blokes), who've never cooked before.
I'd love to be able to crack eggs on the edge of a bowl one-handed!
You can use dried pasta - that's what's in the packet. The sauce could probably be based on a white sauce, with additional flavouring and additions. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
I'm on the third day of a lentil pasta salad with no ill effects
For the recipe, use a finely chopped celery stick, a small cup of puy lentils slightly undercooked and a pack of small pasta cooked as per instructions. For dressing use sunflower oil with red wine vinegar, garlic, a squeeze of lemon, oregano and a little olive oil. Shake together and dress the salad. I like a little balsamic vinegar on top as well.0 -
a couple of nights ago i raided the dregs of my fridge and made pasta with a tin of tomatoes, green beans, half an onion, leftover roast chicken and half a courgette. added some cajun seasoning and it's made 3 tasty lunches!0
