Why the Stalling after saying they wont?

Hi everyone

Ok now i have just found out that tomorrows news we were waiting for yet again on the decisions regarding bank charges are going to be appealed..

Thus turning this into waiting game that will last even Longer,

WHY ARE THEY ALLOWED TO DO THIS WHEN FROM THE OUTSET WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DRAG ON AND ON. WHEN WILL THIS COUNTRY GET SOME BALLS AND MAKE THESE PEOPLE DO WHAT THEY ARE TOLD LIKE THE REST OF US. GETTING SHAFTED YET AGAIN.

Can someone please tell me why this is allowed to happen over and over again why is nobody doing anything about it ?? sorry for the rant but these banks that we are forced into using can basically do what the hell they like?

maybe i dont know all the in's and out's but what i can gather is that the normal joe on the street is getting !!!!ed over by the banks and the regulators.

I am totally peeved off by the news that the banks intend to appeal. As you say the banks said they would work with the OFT and the Courts to bring this matter to a close. This is going to drag on for ages whilst we continue to build up the banks profits by paying huge charges. The banks should be made to stand up and justify these charges and the FSA should drop the waiver which the banks are hiding behind:mad:
