Hi Guys,

Im a landlord with a couple of flats. Can anyone recommend where I can get the cheapest landlords insurance as im on a tight budget.

Hi, I own 2 properties and the best bet for me has been NIG insurance through my local broker - the major ones tend to cherry pick and are usually dearer. I always ask for property owners insurance.

Try Milestone Insurance 0845 271 1831 if you mention Money Saving Expert they will give you a 10% discount.

Thanks for posts, just saved £158 on renewal on terraced house with milestone. existing insurer quoted £316, milestone quoted 216 via web then lady on phone knocked off another 10% when I mentioned MSE.

Just a quick thanks for the Milestone info.

The tip about quoting MoneySaving Expert also was great. Total saved me about 20%.

Got a quote from Milestone also, proved to be way cheaper than the likes of Halifax & Endsleigh!

Also, don't make the mistake I did initially. You don't use the market sale price of the property for valuation, you need the rebuild cost and you can calculate that here:
