MBNA Fraud protection scheme

I have just spoken to MBNA and at the end of the call the Advisor mentioned to me about a scheme they operate via Experien whereby for £5.00 per month you can have unlimited access to your credit file and if a search is made MBNA will text you.
Also they mentioned I would need to pay annually but if I wanted to cancel I would just need to give them 1 months notice.
Has anyone tried their scheme and how they have found it.

£60 up front is a bit too much IMO. You only really need to check your reports 2-3 times a year. Get a CapitalOne card and use their free Equifax service.0
