Argos have a long term BOGOF offer on lithium batteries [non-rechargeable]. They last far longer than any Duracell batteries I've tried.

Hi,
I think NMH batteries are rechargeable, have you got a charger?
If so buy rechargeables.

LittleJo has the best idea. Buy rechargeable batteries, they are a GREAT moneysaver0

Having several digital cameras in the house and some RC toys, rechargable batteries are a must. I always get mine from the same chap on EBay. Cheap, fast delivery, hold the charge and have never to date had any type of problem.
Seller is " vapextech " , no relation and no affiliation, just excellent product and service.
** Go for the highest mAh possible.0 -
Hi....yes my batteries are rechargeable but one pair dont recharge now. (Sorry didn't make that clear), they are prob about a year old and not that well used so a bit dissappointed.
I bought 4 battteries and a charger. I prefer rechargables!
However no matter how long I put one pair on for a charge they no longer work my camera at all!!! The other pair are fine! !0 -
The children all have Samsung digital cameras, they will only work with High Power (2500mAh) rechargables.0

Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-MH) batteries are rechargable. The 2000 you quote will be the mAh and the higher this number the longer the batteries will last before needing to be recharged.mah_jong wrote:....They are AA hahnel 2000 nickel metal hydride, any one got any recs? I believe the largest mAh batteries that Uniross do are 2500 mAh and www.battery-force.co.uk sell them at £9.22 (including VAT and P&P) for a pack of 4.
You will be able to put these batteries in your existing charger but because they are a higher/longer lasting battery they do take longer to charge.
www.Batterylogic.co.uk do a FAQ (frequently asked question) which should answer your questions.
You could also upgrade your charger as well. Both Batterylogic.co.uk and Battery-Force.co.uk do a range of chargers some that charge in under an hour. I'd recommend comparing prices between the both of them if you are interested in a new charger.0 -
Looks like I very unlucky with my batteries, the FAQ says they should last 1000 charges, which is what I remember from when I bought mine! Doubt they made the 50 charge mark. ( Why do I always get the duds!!!!)
So I should be looking at 2500 now .... thanks for the advice folk.0
