DH & I are going to Paris on the Eurostar shortly and was wondering if any one had any experience or tips on being 'upgraded' like the airlines do.
I will ask anyways
but wondered if any one had done this before?

airlines don't do free upgrades these days, it is all a myth...
you can pay for upgrades, or if you're a top tier frequent flyer and buy a full prices (not discounted!) ticket, you can get an upgrade, but on standard fares, for a standard pax, you really don't get them on airlines..
good luck though...0 -
Nope - am pretty sure Eurostar don't do upgrades as it's usually rammed....
Save me from spending...

Absolutely no chance but you can pay extra to be in first class or the halfway between first and standard class. You only get access to coaches with less seats in them and first comes with a meal.
You can pay for Business first tickets which gives you access to the business lounge at each terminus which have free wi-fi, free food and drinks and check-in at any time.
Don't try and sit in the wrong seats or try and get into the lounges if you are not entitled. Eurostar will ask you to politely leave and if you kick up a fuss, you will be kicked off the train or denied boarding.0
