Could the catch be that Ryan Air are complete **** maybe:confused:

But still flights 2p is great, is that including taxes? Good on you!

Always got to be someone negative about Ryanair. Probably never even flown with them.

twinkly, there is no catch! They just have special sales sometimes, sometimes £10 and sometimes 1p. I am going to Marrakech for £10, which is absolutely fantastic for a flight of that length (they are usually approx £80).

    Enjoy! x

I had flights to South France in April for £2.02 return (because I don't have a Visa Electron card). This July, I'm going back but have had to pay the extortionate price of £30.80 return  :rotfl:

Yes, it does include airport taxes / fees!

one thing i've noticed with these.. they advertise them as free, no taxes, no charges..

i went through the booking process last night, and it wants to charge me 2p, plus then the card fee (i have maestro, not electron) so it comes out at £2.42..

even with an electron card, the flight is 2p, not FREE... or, do they not charge you the 2p when using an electron card, and the flight is actually free..

might be worth wasting £2.42 just to find out.. MAN - Milan anyone?

EDIT.. oh, you can supposedly claim the 2p back, but it ain't worth it... hmm.. still can't really advertise it as free IMO

^ Yes, if you have the Visa Electron card and therefore the final cost is 2p, they don't charge you anything at all.

Is that an invite? I'll come to Milan!

Getting through the booking process without Ryanair adding things that you don't need to the booking.

So if you have hand luggage only, can do on-line check-in, don't want priority boarding or insurance & use an Electron card to book then there's no catch.

If you can't then watch the figures go rapidly up.

Added - also watch out for the "free" flight one way but above normal fares on the return flight

i think the catch with these free flights is that if you don't fly on the weekdays when its free then you pay more at other times, ryanair are just pushing the costs around, some free, some pay a lot more than could have been expected at other times

i know its not factual and all that and ryanairs policy on ticket prices is confusing to say the least, but thats what it seems to me

Airport checkin - £4 per person per leg, REQUIRED if you don't have an EU/EEA passport.

    Credit/debit card fees

    Baggage fees

The last Ryanair flight I was on had the most in-air marketing of any I've been on before. They had the volume really loud on the speakers and it was blasting the various ads.

Even with all these hassles, it's still a great price and I'd rather fly them than pay a lot more.
