Hey all,
Looking for some advice please.
Looking to get my first tumble dryer and i havnt got a clue what i should be looking for.
I dont have a vent in my kitchen but was thinking that when i come to move house again i might so can i buy one with a hose and can you put an adapter on it, so that when/if i move i can plug it into a vent?
What should i be looking for?
Is it worth getting one?
Thanks

I would suggest paying slightly more and getting a self-condensing tumble dryer - no need for the long snake-like hoses.0

do you know any worth recommending?
Whats the difference with them?

Condenser type with auto function - it detects when clothes are dry so it doesn't waste electricity.
We have a basic Bosch condenser model and it's excellent - takes about 45 minutes for a washing machine load (about half full in the dryer) to dry to 'cupboard dry' setting.0 -
I'd deffo go for a condenser version0

Does anyone have any recommendations of any dryers?

I'd definintely go for a vented one - cheaper, less to go wrong, no condensation in the house (assuming you do vent it outside!), nothing to empty (Except lint filter). I'd recommend a Creda one ... 3 of them in my family and not a problem between any of them. Ours is about 10 years old and still going strong.

i too am looking to buy a dryer, but i also need a new washing machine. Do you reckon its better to buy them seperately or as a combined? Thanks0

I couldnt get it to vent outside though thats the problem.
My neighbour has a vented one and she has ice blocks for it. Does anyone know how that works?
