Today I was informed (by checkout, then confirmed by a supervisor) that the Poole town centre ASDA was not going to take any more vouchers when the product had not been purchased. I said was it company wide policy and she said as far as she knew just that store. The smaller ASDA nearby has never taken vouchers. Oh well, just as I have built up a load, too. Back to Tesco!

Sainsburys And Morrisons In Lincoln Dont Take Them Unless You Bought The Item.
You can if you think you can!
  • This thread is not really relevant because it differs from cashier to cashier, day to day and shift to shift. Pick a student and avoid the middle aged dragons who think you are nicking from them. Just try them and if they work it's great if they don't you haven't lost anything.
I bet it will be good at Christmas, they will have loads of students and loads of queues.

This thread is relevant: most of the time there is some sort of store policy going round which seems to hold true about 50% of the time.

  • sorry but i agree with cliffjudith, it would not put me off going to try my luck if someone else posted a negative experience with what ever branch. its being in the right place at the right time....and technique on choosing which cashier....if it was written in stone what the policy was across the board then things would be so much easier for everyone....the irony of it is that its one of those blurry policies that you have to accept as making a fuss about something your not legally entitled to (unless you bought the product of course) does no favours for yourself or other voucher users... reading post from others it does appear this voucher thing is tightening up......
