right......Ive fitted / partially fitted an internal door. However the door is able to swing open fully and this means in can bang in with another door near by. Obviosuly I will take care in opening it - BUT my son wont!
What can I fit to restrict the total opening of the door. (i.e more than 90degress ish?) - if you get what I mean.
I know they do these devices for schools etc to only allow them to open 90degrees,
Open to suggestions. Links to pictures would be great.

The device you described is a door closer :

You may be able to limit the opening of the door with some types but they are primarily for closing the door. If the construction of the door is not solid then the door or frame could be damaged, I know if I fitted one to my hollow doors it would soon pull the screws out.
Is it possible to fit the door so that it opens the other way (into/out of the room) so that it will not hit the other one.
I assume a rubber stopper screwed to the floor would be in the way, if not would be a cheap solution. Otherwise self adhesive rubber feet on the doors where they would collide could prevent damage.0 -
