Its like they are punishing you for not spending with them anymore!
Hopefully I can pay my account off in full by the end of July, just hope i don't get changed too much in that month.0 -
I got my letter today from Additions. I just couldn't believe it. Was even more stressed than I might have been as they had just deliverd a wardrobe that I thought was a good deal yesterday. Not with an interest rate of 39.7% its not!!!
After I had calmed down, I realised I better put all my efforts into paying it off before everything else as it has the highest interest of all my debt.
Still annoyed with them though.0 -
The only way to aviod the hiked up interest charged is to make the interest free payment every month, which is costly to most I know, but it's the only way. Those of you who are in a position to pay up & close your account can do so by making final payment asap, then telephone the office and ask to be put through to the "Retention Team" there you will be given a load of hype to make you stay, but stick to your guns & tell them to remove your name and telephone number from the data-banks. This will take anything up to 6 months to stop the junk mailing coming through as they are sent via advertising 3rd party companies, but it will stop office mailings and nil statements immediately. For your information too; the increased interest rates will be calculated from your June balance, but you will not see it until your July statement, so you will be unofficialy in arrears by 1 month from the off. God I work for a crap company......0

OMG!!!!
And I had a conversation with my cousin about them last night. She has just been given an flat and when we asked how she would afford furniture and stuff, she said she would just stick in on her Littlewoods account!!!
She's going to be in for a shock!
Please suggest that in the short term she joins www.freecycle.org and at least she can get enough to cover her immediate needs free.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
