I'm a Teaching Assstant in East Sussex. We don't earn that much, but with tax credits I bring home £850 a month, and I manage a mortgage and two kids on that! You get all the holidays with them, and of course you finish at the same time. It's a very rewarding job, has it's downsides sometimes, (what doesn't?) but I enjoy it. I needed no qualifications when I started seven years ago, but now they like you to have at least an NVQ in Teaching Assistants. Go for it I say!

My partner and I currentely deliver and collect home shopping catalogues for Kleeneze. If you're interested in more info on this option, drop me a PM  - As someone else mentioned, there's other options like Kleeneze, but I can only really comment on Kleeneze due to first hand experience. :)

    Hi

Dont know if this helps, but I have three children and I have just started an evening job wednesday - friday 7-12 for hsbc, its not rocket science but it does the job, no child care fees and if the kids are sick I still can go into work as my hubby is at home to care. The work I do is basically sorting out the branches paperwork into piles, like I said not rocket science but it suits me fine.

    Hope that helps?

Or royal mail do night shifts

Thanks for the tip, I have emailed this to my sister, she has a husband and would be able to do it, although i,m a single mum, with no outside help other than child care which my children have to go to when i work, I'm dreading 6 weeks holidays already, they get so upset, Would love to work from home, but most of these jobs advertised are scams i think.
