Updating a Britannia building society book

I know that this is a daft question and I think that I might know that answer. I have a Britannia saving account and I need my book up dating. Can I send my book into my local branch or do I have to go into the branch to get my book updated.
Also I need a deduction of tax certificate from them. Do I have to reqest one in writing or do I have to go in to get one?
Thanks

You can post your book to your local branch.
Unfortunately Britannia doesn't do automatic tax certificates. (Why can't all banks and bss issue these automatically with annual statements? ) So you will have to ask for one.
Do this by post at the same time you send in your passbook.0 -
