nct nearly new sale

Hi Guys, I just had to post and share my best ever money saving tip for parents, nannies whatever!!!
I went to a NCT nearly new sale on the weekend and came away with what we have averaged at around £150 worth of clothes and toys for the grand total of £25.
I always said I'd never buy second hand for little'un, but the stuff the NCT sell is in such good condition, you honestly wouldn't know. Plus there are some things still in poackaging, never been opened.
Other than a cot mattress and car seat, and things that can't be washed or wiped over, I'd pretty much stock up from now on!!!

I bought loads of stuff at those sales when mine were little, sold some stuff too. I never thought twice about buying second hand stuff and had second hand prams for both of them, both mama's n papa's, for half the price of new. I sold them for much the same as I paid for them.
I never bought second hand because I had to, but because it makes financial sense. Also had second hand cot, playpen, bath seat, most clothes etc etc0 -
I agree totally, the majority of the things we have for our little one has been hand me downs or from the nearly new sales, we got a cot, pushchair, stairgates, travel cot, and other little bits and bobs at the first sale we went to for £75. She won't know they are second hand and they do the job just as well as new things.0
