Win tickets to The Booker at the Movies and a set of books from the season with The Booker Prize and the ICA
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Booker Prize and the 60th of the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the ICA present The booker at the Movies, a distinctive season of films adapted from Booker prize winning and shortlisted authors.
More than just a run of films, The Booker at the Movies is a platform for debate around the translation of books to film. It is an opportunity for authors to talk about the experience of seeing their work made in to film, and for screenwriters to discuss the process and challenges they faced.
The season programme:
Sunday 8 June at 4pm - screening of Possession with AS Byatt
Sunday 15 June at 4pm - screening of The Van with Roddy Doyle
Sunday 22 June at 4pm - screenin of A Month in the Country with Simon Gray
Sunday 29 June at 4pm - screening of Atonement with Christopher Hampton
We have 2 exclusve tickets up for grabs at one of the above films and talks, plus a set of all four books which the movies were adapted from.
