I am on the Aol gold account and recently became aware how much cheaper tiscali are for the same service rang Aol and informed them that they were charging me £120 a year more than tiscali would and got my connection speed doubled for no extra charge.
Its well worth the phone call for anyone on aol and if enough people ring and complain they may be forced to drop their prices for everyone.

Did AOL give you the upgrade after the original upgrades which they are doing for all their broadband members?
Because AOL for the last year (since Feb) are upgrading all their members to the next available speed as they are losing people to companies like Tiscali. You should have had emails regarding this.
