    Welcome to the forum.

If you were not new, your post would be considered a wind up!

They are very unpopular for many reasons, their ethos, misleading information and the way they get their agents to 'use' their family and friends!

Loads of agents come on here to ply their services, some declare their interest - many do not!

Do a search of this forum and read the many posts before you join the organisation that uses such selling metods.

I signed up for them under a distributor who I knew who was big in the organisation and they wanted me to do some work for them and were paying for my mobile phone bill and SIM card. So it wasn't really through choice.

I only signed up for the mobile phone part of the deal. Bought a 2nd hand mobile from ebay, bought the £10 SIM. That's all I use them for. Line cost is just £8/month, no contract, 8p/minute for calls, 8p/text. But I only use the phone for about 10p of calls/texts per month so not really bothered. Never had trouble at all.

Never really got round to using them for anything else. Meant to. Never did.

I'm happy enough obviously or I'd have changed probably. Been using them for just mobile phone for 3 years.

Don't post links for personal gain. Except in the referrers section and always declare any interest.

I happen to know that Telecom Plus are taking a very dim view of spammers like yourself, and will cancel your distributorship with them if your reported .(They also take a very dim view of unapproved web sites )

So i suggest you delete your post pronto before someone reports you.

I am still a distributor with them, although not active. The company is in business to make money for shareholders, the same as others. Depending on where you live and what services you require, they may be reasonable value. I was going to swap from UW to Southern (who were shown as cheaper for me on the WHICH? site) a while ago and then they put their prices up so it was not worth my while. What you must remember to do, is to take into account the £1.75 per month club membership fee. This puts a lot of prospective customers off. The company encourage people to use all their offerings and to this end they provide "free" phone calls to British geographical numbers if you have at least four services including landline with them. Some customers have had bad experiences with UW and are very vocal about it. Yes, they have faults but so do other providers. Yer pays yer money and makes yer choice.
